**Manufacturing Quality Technician I**

We have a great opportunity on the ground floor for a quality-minded individual looking to build a career in the manufacturing industry, working primarily in the defense sector.

As our **MQT I** you are a primary part of helping us inspect and document inspection results. You also help with AS9100, ISO and Environmental process and system audits.

**We are seeking a person with the following skill set and competencies**:

- Ability to understand / interpret blueprints and use measurement tools (measuring tapes and calipers).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment a requirement.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office a requirement.
- Experience with ERP systems an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and strong initiative.
- A minimum of a Grade 12 education is a requirement.
- Combinations of education and experience may be considered.

**Your skills and competencies will help you**:

- Inspecting purchased and manufactured components through visual inspections and / or using basic measuring devices via cross referencing prints for necessary requirements.
- Reporting and logging found issues and working with the Quality team to disposition and direct rework of findings.
- Provide overall administrative and technical support of our quality management system.
- Manage quality databases and spreadsheets; collect, enter and analyze data from audit results, corrective action reports, and associated quality documentation.
