Quality Control Technician

**Your daily life**:
As a key member of the team, the incumbent of this position is responsible for supporting and controlling quality on electro-mechanical equipment and accessories production lines. This role involves verifying and documenting manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, as well as writing non-conformities and implementing corrective actions.
**In this role, you will**:
- Quality Control on Production Lines: Conduct regular checks on production lines to verify that products comply with technical specifications and established quality standards.
- Non-Conformity Detection: Identify and document non-conformities in manufacturing processes, including product defects, assembly errors, and deviations from quality standards.
- Non-Conformity Reporting: Accurately document detected non-conformities, including detailed problem descriptions, photos if necessary, and using appropriate tracking tools.
- Root Cause Analysis: Collaborate with production teams to determine the root causes of non-conformities and propose solutions to address and prevent them in the future.
- Implementation of Corrective Actions: Participate in the implementation of corrective actions to resolve identified non-conformities, following established procedures and ensuring the validation of the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Training and Awareness: Provide support to production team members on quality standards and best practices to minimize non-conformities.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- College diploma (D.E.C.) or technical degree in electronics, industrial engineering, or related field.
- Five years of relevant experience or more
- Prior experience in a quality control or production technician role, preferably in the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Working knowledge of quality tools such as Pareto charts, 5 Whys, and corrective action plans.
- In-depth knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and associated quality standards.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and perform visual and functional inspections.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly and accurately document non-conformities.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Rigor, ability to work in a team, ability to popularize methods and concepts, autonomy, versatility, and flexibility.
- Bilingualism (asset)
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Ability to navigate an ERP (SAP)
