**The Opportunity**
Leavitt Machinery is looking for a driven, creative and energetic **Industrial Sales and Rentals Representative** to join our team in **London, Ontario**. As the Industrial Sales and Rentals Representative, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of all sales and business development activity in your assigned territory. This position provides a significant opportunity for learning and career growth for an aspiring equipment sales professional.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
As the Industrial Sales and Rentals Representative your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the sales strategy and plan in your assigned territory, including prospecting, sales lead follow-ups, and building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
- Retaining and growing top customer accounts by proactively identifying opportunities and presenting innovative solutions
- Negotiating prices and making deals, turning leads into sales
- Identifying and building relationships with decision makers within existing accounts, creating an ongoing relationship strategy and establishing Leavitt as a trusted advisor
- Providing input on target customer opportunities, ensuring alignment with the overall account strategy
- Forecasting and delivering on accounts to ensure success against contract terms
- Coordinating with product experts to identify and capitalize on expansion and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
- Conducting follow ups with customers on orders, quotes, and services requested
- Sourcing competitor information and analyzing competitor product offerings and pricing to overcome client objections
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- 2-3 years of prior experience in B2B equipment sales is considered an asset
- Post-secondary education in Sales, Business, or a related discipline is considered an asset
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills
- Maintaining a valid driver’s license is required
- Previous experience in equipment sales is considered an asset but not required
- Ability to travel within Ontario as needed
