**About the Role**: We are currently seeking a dynamic North America Payroll Lead to oversee payroll operations across Canada and the US. As a key member of the team, you'll spearhead payroll processing, lead year-end activities, and support strategic payroll initiatives.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Manage payroll processing for Canada and US employees, including hourly and salaried workers in union and non-union environments.
- Lead full cycle year-end activities and ensure timely and accurate distribution of T4s and W2s.
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Finance to maintain payroll general ledger accounts and advise on complex transactions.
- Participate in payroll system implementations and provide ongoing support.
- Document and maintain processing instructions, SOPs, and training materials.

**Who We're Looking For**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience processing large-scale US and Canada payroll.
- Exposure to expatriate/commuter payroll.
- Proven experience leading teams through transition and efficiency processes.
- Advanced Excel skills for reporting and data validation.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to cultivate effective relationships internally and externally.

**Your Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience leading teams in any environment is an asset.
- Active PCP or FPC designation required; progress towards CPM/CPP is advantageous.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
