**Role Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Manager, Strategy & Planning, this position is responsible for maintaining the division's strategic and operational reporting program, including divisional business planning and reporting activities.

This position provides advisory services to research, develop, and support strategies, plans, roadmaps, and frameworks to facilitate the achievement of branch goals and outcomes. This position researches and synthesizes information from various service and program areas to provide valuable advice and recommendations, and must create and establish positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders to meet the needs of the division and ministry partners.

This position is responsible for leading the implementation and management of IMT strategies, processes, and frameworks to support divisional activities including:

- Strategic and Operational Reporting Services
- Divisional Business Planning and Reporting Services
- Strategic and Operational Advisory Services
- Cross-Divisional Committees and Forums

**To be successful in this position you will demonstrate**:

**Qualifications**:
**Requirements**:

- University graduation in a related field such as Business Administration, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Public Administration.
- 4 years of progressively responsible related experience in strategy and policy planning, research, and development.
- Understanding of the information management and technology sector.

**Equivalency**:
Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:

- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education

**Assets**:

- Strong knowledge of government goals, strategies, priorities and initiatives, particularly as they relate to the mandate of information technology.
- Strong leadership abilities to lead and coordinate initiatives and resources from multiple business areas with competing priorities.
- Expertise in writing clear concise Strategic Plans, Operational Plans, briefings, and presentations.
- Strong knowledge of information technology, products and services, and future industry directions.
