**River glen veterinary clinic** is a single veterinarian, fast-growing new veterinary clinic in the heart of Oakville. Our business hours are minded by work/life balance of our staff.
We are seeking to hire a cheerful and animal loving individuals to fill our Animal Care Attendant role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Telephone, in-person, and electronic interaction with clients to book appointments, schedule follow ups and provide surgery preparation instructions to clients.
- Prepare vaccination records, travel certificates, and submit insurance claims.
- Co-ordinating and submitting lab sample collection requests to IDEXX reference laboratory.
- Inventory stocking, registering and price updates.
- Facility sanitizing, tidying and cleaning.
- The job includes humane restraint of animals (i.e. cats and dogs) for vaccine/ medication and maintaining the comfort and daily care of all in-hospital patient
Working hours are minded by Life-Work balance:
- Mon-Thu 9:30-6:00pm
- Sun 12:00-6:00pm (every other Sunday)
- Fridays and Saturdays are off.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $17.00-$21.00 per hour depending on experience
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Thursday
**Experience**:
- at least 1 year AVImark (required)
