We are a privately run company, operating a hospitality and heli-skiing business, located outside of Golden, BC. We deliver Best Day Ever experiences through our companies Heather Mountain Lodge and Great Canadian Heli-Skiing, who have been a part of the Golden community for over 25 years. Our incredible location based on the doorstep of Glacier National Park gives our team and guests spectacular access to all the beauty and wonders the mountains have to offer. **POSITION OVERVIEW**:
- Guide guests through check-in & check-out processes
- Maintaining a constant level of professionalism while providing guests with all lodge services information and assisting with any requests or inquiries
- Conduct daily tasks that assist with the smooth and orderly operation of the front desk and retail shop area, such as restocking, reorganizing and inventory management of the retail area, preparing and sharing reports, requests or any pertinent information with other departments within the lodge and maintaining a tidy and presentable work space at all times
- Act as the information center of the lodge for guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous and friendly manner
- Work closely with other departments delegate guest requests and ensure tasks are coordinated and fulfilled
- Help in creating an upscale ambiance and atmosphere for guests
- Facilitate the waiver process for all guests
- Perform any other duties assigned by the direct manager
- Assist other departments when required
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Front desk/ guest service experience is an asset
- Retail experience is an asset
- Previous experience with Opera Cloud, Property Management System is an asset
- First Aid certification is an asset
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong solution based thinking ability
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to be flexible with scheduling
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Strong Time Management Skills
- Highly organized, results oriented and excellent troubleshooting skills
- Able to maintain a positive and objective outlook in challenging situation
- Ability to lead by example while displaying a high standard of performance

As our Lodge is based right off of Highway 1, staff can enjoy the lodge life while still having access to the town of Golden in their off time to enjoy a dinner in town or a movie night at the theater
