Its subsidiary REEL Aluminium Inc based in Burlington, Ontario, operates the recently acquired Aluminium business of Outotec and is now part of REEL’s Aluminum Division.
**Within the Aluminium Division, REEL currently operates three businesses complementary to REEL Aluminium Inc. through NKM Noell Special Cranes GmbH, REEL Alesa and REEL Möller GmbH, a former entity of FLSmidth.
**All these entities are committed to innovation and continuous improvement, and have a strong track record, having served every major aluminium producer in the world. More specifically, REEL has been operating in the Aluminium business sector for the past 20 years with dedicated teams based, among other, in Zürich (Switzerland), Montréal (Canada), Aix-en-Provence (France), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Köln (Germany) and Veitshoechheim (Germany).**

**Position**:
Within the Burlington Aluminium group there is a need for an experienced Document Controller who will be responsible for issuing and receiving all technical and commercial documents on a global basis, using a multitude of systems.

**Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Transmitting/Receiving, tracking and monitoring drawings and documentation to clients, suppliers and internally.
- Assist Engineering in developing and maintaining project documentation including drawings, transmittals, design error notices, design change notices, vendor submittals, comments, reviews, copies and approvals, and other project documentation.
- Inputting of drawing information for reports and logging into database.
- Generating Document Control reports.
- Printing and photocopying as required.
- Maintaining and filing Documents electronically.
- Generating manual or electronic transmittals as required
- Issuing monthly progress status reports for both internal and external clients.
- Checking the accuracy of transmittals.
- Expediting the review of internal and external documentation within engineering departments.
- Monitoring all drawings and documents.
- Creating Packing Lists and Commercial Invoices for some shipments.

**Requirements**:

- College graduate in business administration or technologies or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 2-5 years experience in an Engineering firm or in a technical environment.
- General understanding of engineering and procurement activities with respect to document management and control would be an asset.
- Knowledge and experience in all areas of document/data management, including identification, creation, use, retrieval, access, retention, turnover, preferably in an engineering environment.
- Ability to work remotely and/or in office environment with mínimal supervision and competing priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Proficient in use of electronic Document/Data Management Systems
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Detail oriented and skilled in setting priorities.
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
- Ability to help customers or suppliers in a professional and concerned manner.
- Ability to set and achieve goals and work well under pressure.
- Excellent analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills; oral and written communication.
