**Job Summary**:
**Education**:

- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources

**Knowledge**:

- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative position related to personnel administration
- Experience in HR recruiting processes and practices is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of workforce management and human capital management (HCM) systems such as Kronos and PeopleSoft
- Knowledge and experience in data acquisition, coordination, analysis, interpretation and management.
- Excellent knowledge of scheduling practices is preferred
- Able to work in a fast paced, attention to detail, time sensitive environment

**Responsibilities**:
**_ Managing Internal Job Postings (35% of time)_**:

- Prepare, maintain and analyze spreadsheet with all job postings weekly
- Identify the successful applicant and complete all pertinent documentation
- Advise the home(s) manager of successful applicant for Internals transfers
- If offer accepted by internal staff, advising impacted home(s) of transfer date, obtain pertinent information regarding the employee (i.e. performance issues, pre-approved vacation dates, and orientation requirements, etc.,) and advise staff of any required orientation, transfer date and pertinent information of the home.
- Complete related steps in PeopleSoft to initiate staff movement and communicate with managers, LTC Scheduling and Human Resources.
- If there are no successful applicants in the file, maintain digital records for documentation of date and time of offers and applicant declines (i.e. could be utilized by the union at future date to require clarification of applicants who declined the posting, or to refer back to if manager has requested a hold on external recruitment to fill vacancy with a probationary employee)
- When a successful applicant accepts a posting, submit staffing requisition to the talent acquisition advisor to post the successful applicant’s current posting in a timely manner.
- Advising the Home(s) and central scheduling of all employees impacted who are required to return to their permanent positions when an employee is returning from a Leave Of Absence.
- Ensuring and maintains images of rotation schedules are updated on the Vine following schedule adjustments to ensure accuracy of information.
- Provides regular updates and statistics on status of internal job postings.

**_ Managing external Job Postings (25% of time)_**:

- Monitor the external job posting throughout the posting period for each of the recruitments
- Create a short list for pre-screen interviews
- Prepare, maintain and analyze spreadsheet with all job postings weekly
- Provides regular updates and statistics on status of external job postings

**_ Job Offers (External Postings) (25% of time)_**:

- Following completed references checks, alert manager of any issues and make recommendation for hire and to which home, based on previously stated log of current vacancies and knowledge of diverse needs of each home
