**Overview**
- Our Connected Innovation Solution team is seeking an experienced Account Executive (AE) who is driven to exceed targets and passionate about helping companies innovate. As an Account Executive, you will engage with prospects across a wide range of industries and use our best-in-class sales process to sell our industry-leading connected innovation intelligence solutions to IP, R&D, and innovation professionals. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to “flex” your sales muscles while pitching to the world’s leading innovators.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Analyze your territory, identify the right opportunity, plan and convert this opportunity into growth.
- Selling primarily into Mid Market across North America
- Exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets, as well as sales-related KPIs.
- Build, manage and convert pipeline and confidently, accurately and consistently report and forecast based on the current pipeline.
- Conduct highly consultative and solution-oriented meetings with clients and demonstrate the value PatSnap can offer to each customer and stakeholder.
- Effectively manage a sales process that includes both phone and zoom based interactions.
- Collaborate with partners and colleagues to provide the best solutions to the clients, and coach and mentor Sales Development Representatives

**Who You Are**:

- Educated at University level
- Proven track record of success, consistently exceeding targets
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience within a high-tech environment
- At least 1 year of SaaS sales or solution sales experience
- Proven track record of completion of several multi-product, combination solution selling
- Received training in SPIN Selling and Challenger Sales
- You are super organized, and love being in charge of your own time
- You are money motivated - uncapped commissions means your salary can be what you make it
- An interest in technology, and how it is used to drive business forward
- You love talking to new people, and are a confident communicator
- You thrive working to (and exceeding) targets
- You are a problem solver; you like to use your knowledge to help people overcome challenges
- You are experienced in working in a fast-paced working environment, and enjoy working independently
- You have experience from solution sales, and want to continue your development in a fast-growing company and industry
