**ACCOUNTING & BOOK-KEEPING ASSISTANT**

**Company Description**

Dohzy is a tech startup that offers financial services in the fields of lending, business and financial education. We have a digital platform that uses data science and Artificial intelligence to predict risk, evaluate usage patterns and recommend financial products.

**Type of employment**:Part-time, permanent

Dohzy platform processes multiple transactions a month. These transactions are loans, savings, and payments. The accounting assistant will do the following
- Reconcile transactions based on transaction type
- Create financial statements from transactions
- Create and keep track of different accounts
- Assist with payroll management
- Create visualizations to show financial health of company
- Assist with finance ( valuation, financial modeling, forecasting)

**Knowledges**:

- Quickbooks or other bookkeeping, payroll and invoicing software
- Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Canadian tax system and laws

**Schedule**:

- 15 hrs a week ( 5 hour shift, 3 times a week )
- Flexible during the week and/or weekend

**Salary**:17$/h

**Languages**:

- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Fluent in spoken and written French

Work Type: Remote, Hybrid

**Job Types**: Part-time, Internship / Co-op
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Montréal, QC H3C 2N6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (required)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (required)
