This is a contract position (24 hours per week) with negotiable work days. This position requires an on-site person and is not offered remotely at this time. Under the immediate supervision of the Business Manager, the Data Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the digital transformation and improvement of our data capacity by streamlining our existing tools, resources and information files.

**Duties or Responsibilities**:

- Identify duplication within our current data systems and create plans to migrate necessary tools and processes.
- Enlist agency teams to identify their necessary tools and streamline existing data information.
- Update and migrate donor information in our fundraising management system.
- Work closely with the management team for approval and decision making in the deleting and migration of data tools and information.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as typing, photocopying, general filing, data entry as required.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of work undertaken.
- Create and modify program-specific computer templates/forms as required.
- Update agency lists and seek out correct information within teams.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in reviewing agency information and client files.
- Offer general support to the management team as necessary i.e. errands.
- Familiarize self with fire procedures, health & safety regulations and house policies of the Women & Children's Shelter of Barrie.
- Perform other shelter related duties as directed by the Business Manager and/or Executive Director.

**Qualifications**:

- Secondary school diploma and or equivalent in data management, administrative assistant etc.
- High level of experience to organize, collect and re-establish better processes to facilitate services to our clients.
- Working knowledge of office equipment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to gather information and organize data in a usable, efficient manner.
- Self-motivated and highly organized; able to work independently.
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to plan effectively.
- Experience working with teams to gather information, identify priorities, create immediate goals and implement actions.

- Valid C.P.R. and First Aid Certificate
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License
- Access to a vehicle

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

**Salary**: $21.31 per hour
