**Must-haves**
- Degree/diploma in a related field
- IIBA certification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant BA experience
- A degree in IT / Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, MS Visio, MS Excel
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive

**Great to have extras**
- Knowledge of or previous experience with the insurance industry
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Design (BDD)
- Exposure to Mongo DB
- Miro boards
- Atlassian, Jira, and Confluence products

**Responsibilities**
- Define business requirements, document, and report them back to stakeholders
- Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and writing specifications
- Improve systems by studying current practices, and designing modifications
- Analyze business needs to define our IT solutions
- Document User Stories effectively so they can be clearly understood by Front End, Back End developers and Quality Assurance
- Participate in leading initiatives and contributing to their successful deliveries
- Contribute to daily systems production support activities as well as projects
- Develop, execute, and review test plans to ensure system accuracy and efficiency while attaining desired functionality
