**Responsibilities**
- Process semi-monthly payrolls for all salaried and hourly employees
- Prepare records of employment and T4s
- Facilitate on-boarding and off-boarding processes
- Manage the administration of the HR system, assisting employees with queries
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive employee data
- Administer benefit enrollments and terminations
- Assist in preparing and analyzing the market salary survey data
- Administer employee stock option process
- Manage health and safety related programs to ensure a safe and secure work environment
- Assist in organizing employee events
- Assist in office administration and other duties assigned by manager

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Accounting or related field. Certification as a CHRP, or currently pursuing CHRP designation, is a definite asset.
- Minimum of 3 years of payroll and HR administration experience required, ideally in an engineering or technical services environment
- High sense of urgency and able to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good Influencing/negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly proficient computer skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Handle all confidential information with discretion and sensitivity
- High level of integrity, ethics and professionalism
