Sicotte Guilbault Professional Corporation has an immediate opening for a real estate law clerk in its Embrun office.
- College Degree as a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant
- A minimum of two years of experience in real estate law
- Strong communication skills: oral and written
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle fast paced, detailed oriented and deadline driven work
- Attention to detail and office procedure
- Willingness to learn and ability to adapt quickly
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge or experience in corporate, estate and family law would be an asset
- Experience using The Conveyancer and Teraview software
- Experience using PCLaw, Fast Company and Estate-a-base software would be an asset
- Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Managing residential and commercial real estate files from beginning to end
- Completing and interpreting title searches
- Organizing and tracking flow of work
- Preparing legal documentation and handling all aspects of real estate transactions
- Maintaining a system for follow up on outstanding matters; initiating follow-up as required
- Maintaining client files and records
- Preparing final reports and client invoices
- Perform miscellaneous clerical and administrative duties as required by the management team.
- Assist in other areas of law, including corporate, wills and estates and family law when possible and as required.

**Adjoint(e) juridique en droit immobilier**

Sicotte Guilbault Professional Corporation recherche activement un(e) adjoint(e) juridique pour un poste en droit immobilier à son bureau d’Embrun.

La personne sélectionnée possédera les qualités suivantes:

- Diplôme collégial d’adjointe ou d’auxiliaire juridique
- Au moins deux ans d’expérience dans le domaine du droit immobilier
- Excellentes habiletés en communication: oral et écrit
- Gestion du temps et sens de l’organisation exceptionnel
- Aptitude à gérer du travail rapide, détaillé et axé sur des délais stricts.
- Souci du détail et respect des procédures
- Volonté d'apprendre et capacité d'adaptation rapide
- Capacité de travailler de façon autonome et en équipe
- Connaissance ou expérience en droit des affaires, des successions et de la famille serait un atout
- Connaissance des logiciels The Conveyancer et Teraview
- Connaissance des logiciels PCLaw, Fast Company, Estate-a-base serait un atout
- Bilinguisme (français et anglais) serait un atout

Les responsabilités peuvent inclure, mais ne sont pas limitées à:

- Gestion des dossiers immobiliers résidentiels et commerciaux du début à la fin
- Compléter et interpréter les recherches de titres
- Organisation et suivi des étapes du travail
- Préparation de la documentation juridique et gestion de tous les aspects des transactions immobilières
- Maintenir un système de suivi et entreprendre des suivis au besoin
- Garder à jour les fichiers et dossiers clients
- Préparer les rapports et les factures des clients;
- Effectuer diverses tâches cléricales et administratives telles que requises par l’équipe de gestion
- Soutenir l’équipe dans le domaine du droit des affaires, testaments et successions et droit de la famille lorsque possible et au besoin.
