Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate law and financing to manage real estate and financing files from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- File Management
- Manage real estate and financing files from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct and interpret title searches to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Document Preparation
- Prepare legal documents for real estate and financing transactions, including contracts and agreements.
- Review and finalize documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Client Communication
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on file status and progress.
- Administrative Support
- Organize client files, prepare invoices, and final reports.
- Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
Requirements
- Education
- College Diploma in Law Clerk or Legal Assistant program.
- Experience
- 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate law and financing.
- Skills
- Bilingualism in English and French (required).
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Experience with Unity, Lawyer Done Deal, Teraview — knowledge of Clio and corporate law is an asset.
