**Overview**:The Order Desk/Reception works with sales administrators and reports to the Sales Manager and is primarily responsible

for inputting orders, generating daily invoices, assisting the Manager where required and working with the Sales Team.

**Responsibilities**:
Order Entry
- Enter all orders into the in-house system ERP and print invoices daily by the scheduled time.
- Contacting customers by phone to take orders and for follow-ups
- Keeping the deadline for taking orders and making delivery manifest for our DSD drivers or third part ATS
- Communicate with the production team on all pickup orders and orders and provide the preparation sheet daily.
- Issue standing orders every month.

Daily Duties
- Communicate with all customers and professionally address their needs.
- Gather invoices daily and separate them accordingly.
- File invoices to the appropriate customer file.
- Distribute the mail.
- Check the general mailbox phone messages every hour.
- Update standing order listing and route sequence listing monthly
- Answer calls and forwarding to appropriate departments.
- Front door receptionist for everyone entering the office and directing them accordingly
- Ordering office materials and keeping stock of office essentials

**Analysis**
- Review customer returns and sales reports from Orion and makes necessary changes to customers' standing orders

**Other**
- Update and manage customer information changes in the in-house system ERP.
- Implement any price changes in the system, whether permanent or promotional.
- Communicate with the Route Delivery Drivers about changes to customer orders.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years ORDER DESK & RECEPTION
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong customer service orientation. Strives to exceed customer expectations.
- Deals effectively and professionally with issues that arise.
- Ability to work well in a team environment & demonstrate respect for coworkers.
- Inform production team re: anticipated orders based on history and knowledge of
- customers' habits.
- Ability to describe products to customers.
- Good communication skills,
- Sound problem-solving abilities
- Experience in a similar role is a definite asset
- Enthusiasm for the product
- Ability to handle detailed documentation and paperwork
- Driver's License/reliable way to get to work.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
