Ever since the Paz family went into business in 1969, we have had an independent spirit and wanted to do things differently. Gas stations have been around for decades, but we have not seen a lot of change in how gas stations work. So, the Paz family took the opportunity to make getting gas a much better experience.

The retail operation has plenty of space for any vehicle, from small electric two-seaters to regular SUVs, and large commercial trucks. All our pumps are high-speed, and those reserved for truckers can dispense DEF directly. We offer a card lock service for our fleet management customers, and a sustainable car wash that takes just three minutes to make your car shine. We sell fresh food made to order in our restaurant and have a convenience store on the premises.

In recent years, the Paz team (now at over 40 people) has moved into the wholesale fuel supply business through the delivery of gas on demand, delivered by company owned gas trucks and personnel**.**

**Bookkeep **:Paz Fuels Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic, customer service-oriented individual to coordinate administrative and financial/payroll functions. Within the role of Bookkeeper**, **you must be willing to learn our business and grow with the team.

**Bookkeeper functions include**:

- **Financial Management**: Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- **Ledger Maintenance**: Update and maintain the general ledger, ensuring it reflects all financial activities.
- **Customer Database**: Maintain and update our customer database to ensure accurate records.
- **Reconciliation**: Perform daily account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of all transactions.
- **Inventory Control**: Oversee safe inventory and manage cashier float usage.
- **Bank Transactions**: Coordinate and manage coin and cash orders from the bank.
- **Data Organization**: Collect, organize, and retrieve receipt data from cashiers, ensuring all information is accurately documented.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting software.
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous with an eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- **Organizational Ability**: Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- **Customer Service**: Proven experience in customer service, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- **Experience**: A minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping and accounting
- **Integrity**: Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. A Criminal Record Check will be required.
