Admin Assistant, Accounting

SRT Logistics Inc. is currently recruiting for a dynamic individual to fill the position of Admin Assistant, Accounting / CSR Clerk.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversees Accounting operations, which include financial accounting, accounts payable, and payroll.
- Recording daily accounts payable & receivable transactions
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve outstanding amounts
- Reception and administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, scanning & receiving/distributing mail
- Maintenance of electronic filing system
- Prepare biweekly driver & leased operator payroll runs as required
- Update and maintain customer/client lists
- Assist CSR staff with order entry when needed
- Other duties as assigned by senior management
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred
- Previous experience within the trucking industry an asset
- Experience with Word, Excel, Adobe, Google Sheets required
- Experience with TruckMate TMS Software a definite asset.
- Formal education or certificate in Bookkeeping/Accounting preferred
- Ability to handle a high volume of time sensitive repetitive tasks
- Must have strong focus and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with strong organization and multitasking skills
- Able to work well independently with little supervision
- Excellent command of the English language (reading, writing, oral)
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
