BD Diesel is looking for reliable and dependable **Accounting Clerk - Core Credits **permanent full time to work in our Sales Department, reporting to the Sales Manager, with dotted line reporting responsibilities to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for processing core credits, customer credits, and cheques issuance related duties with a can-do attitude.
** This is NOT a work-from-home/hybrid role and you are required to work in an office environment full time.**
Shift: 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. Monday to Friday
**Accounting Clerk - Core Credits** responsibilities include:
- Review pricing data to discover discrepancies, correct discrepancies and issuing credits to offset;
- Coordinate with finance on cheques creation and issuance to customers;
- Support the creation of purchase order invoices and collaboration with the Finance team for correct financial bookings;
- Responsible for the administrative gatekeeping for core credit eligibility. Reviewing requests to ensure they are within the allowed parameters;
- Facilitate the return of cores and parts to our vendors to receive credits, updating the Company ERP to ensure correct entry;
- Create SOPs for core credit process. Updating annually to ensure correctness; &
- Assist in administrative filing and ad hoc duties if required.
**Requirements**:
- _**2+ years of Administration experience**_
- _**Education in accounting or business administration is an asset**_
- _Working experience with MC Office and accounting software_
- _previous office experience is an asset_
