***What we seek**:
OCHC is currently seeking a Manager, Learning and Organizational Development for a temporary 12 month term to plan, develop, and implement various learning and organizational development projects in addition to managing a broad range of ongoing organizational development and human resources initiatives. Under the guidance of the Vice-President, People, Culture, and Strategy, the Manager of Learning and Organizational Development will support the department and organization to achieve its plans and objectives and to help create a strong culture within OCHC that aligns with our organizational values. The Manager will also oversee the operation of assigned area of responsibility including managing financial resources and providing supervision and direction to the staff.

**Manager, Learning and Organizational Development with OCHC**:
Providing high quality and affordable solutions to our tenants and making a positive change in communities is a main priority for our organization. As the Learning and Organizational Development Manager, you will help to build a positive culture within our organization while ensuring our employees are receiving all the proper trainings when bringing our mission into reality. **You will be an important pillar of our organization** as you will provide advice, guidance, and consultation on various HR-related programs to ensure the success of OCHC in shaping the future of the communities we serve.

**As the Manager, Learning and Organizational Development, some of the things you will do include**:

- Provide expert advice and coaching to staff and management in the areas of learning, talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development
- Develop and recommend appropriate workplace culture and engagement strategies
- Develop and implement an effective, efficient, and integrated workforce planning process for all departments according to OCHC’s strategic and operational plans
- Manage the implementation of effective onboarding programs and orientation of new hires
- Manage and promote various talent management initiatives such as succession plannings and employee evaluation
- Develop the annual learning and development plan and implement innovative learning platforms
- Manage the delivery and optimization of HRIS functionality
- Manage the development of HR metrics
- Provide leadership in the implementation of change management activities
- Monitor developments and trends in the HR industry
- Prepare and manage assigned budgets and expenditures of the assigned area of responsibility
- Manage the human resources needs of the assigned area of responsibility (i.e., hiring, termination, grievances, and more)
- Oversee the effective management of contractors

***What you bring**:
***Education & Experience**:

- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field
- A minimum five (5) years of related progressive experience managing, developing and delivering human resources programs in a unionized environment
- Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation or other equivalent designation is preferred
- Post graduate education in Organizational Performance or Development is an asset
- Knowledge of organizational development
