Organizational Design and Classification Consultant

The contract period is around 3-4 months
The work location: Most of the time, work from own office, except for having meetings with clients in Ottawa, ON, Canada.
Security Clearance: Valid Secret (Level II)
- Review relevant documentation and conduct on-site interviews with employees and managers to identify organizational and classification issues
- Conduct bench marking and/or relativity studies and consult with client’s Accredited Classification Advisors and Manager of Human Resources on organizational design and classification issues;
- Develop options, advice, and recommendations for managers;
- Review and evaluate current work descriptions to identify potential for generic work descriptions;
- Create, draft, write, edit or update work descriptions based on the context of the job for new or existing positions;
- Prepare generic executive and non-executive level work descriptions;
- Present information using client’s work description template;
- Prepare reports, studies presentations and/or present them to the classification committee on classification and organizational design issues,
- Bachelor degree or above with a major in human resources management or a related field of study
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation or relevant professional designation in human resources
- 10 years of consultant experiences
- More than five (5) years of experience in organizational design and classification analysis, and implementation in a Federal Public Service environment
- The Accreditation in Classification in the Federal Public Service Context is preferred.
- Excellent report writing skills and presentation skills to provide guidance and advice to management and employees
- Language(s): Bilingual (English and French) in oral, writing and reading #J-18808-Ljbffr
