_**Weston Park Baptist Church**_ is seeking a passionate and dedicated Ministry Development Pastorwould be described as an extrovert, self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and demonstrating a builder personality; one who supports the church family as it moves into a new era of ministry. The person is called to develop relationships with the church family.

In keeping with our mission to _Receive Grace and Give Grace, _the Ministry Development Pastorprimary role is to support - to motivate, inspire, engage members of the church to grow in their Christian walk and participate in service to the church and community.

The Ministry Development Pastoroversees the church's day-to-day operations to ensure things are running smoothly and supports the Senior Pastor. Working closely with the Senior Pastor, the Ministry Development Pastor will drive the fulfillment of ministry priorities at the church. This is accomplished primarily through:
1. Offering oversight & support for programs and staff (except Senior Pastor).

2. Engage & encourage members and participants in ministry opportunities.

3. Develop plans or strategies to keep the Church organized.

- In the first six months this individual will cultivate relations with church members, staff informally and more formally through the establishment of small groups
- **Visioning **_**& **_**Goal Setting**:_Alongside Deacons & Senior Pastor
- Continue to develop _Goals _for WPBC
- Develop, update and implement goals and _Strategic Plans_

**Ministry Coordination**:

- Facilitating communications and coordination between ministries, and ensuring alignment with overall vision
- Oversight of staff performance, well-being and alignment (except Senior Pastor).
- Identify, mobilize, disciple, and train new and existing leaders
- Facilitate opportunities for leadership development such as mentoring, modeling, retreats, online learning etc.,
- Maintain relevant Policies & Procedures that support effective ministries.
- Manage logistics for moving the church to temporary facilities while the new building is under construction
- **Experience**_:

- 3+ years of experience in a ministry or church environment or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent teamwork orientation skills with peers, colleagues and volunteers.
- Participation in the life of a church community
- Business or community experience combined with pastoral experience would be an asset
- Education - Master's 's degree preferred with a minimum of four years leadership experience
- **Qualifications**:_
- Strong evidence of a Christ-centered life
- Meets the biblical qualifications for leadership.
- Agrees and aligns with the vision, mission, values and statement of faith at WPBC
- Personal growth and self care
- References upon request

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
