**About the Emergency Health I&IT Solutions & Technology Management Branch**
The Emergency Health I+IT Solutions & Technology Management Branch (EHSTMB):

- provides technologies to support 911 ambulance communications and emergency health regulatory and oversight;

**What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this role, you will:

- Lead and manage multiple, large-scale and complex multi-year I&IT projects to meet major business requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of Dev/ops specialists that will manage the branch's data products including 911 real-time dashboards, Data Integration hubs, Reporting solutions and Mobile Applications.
- Lead team for Application deployments and 24/7 support in Cloud and On-Prem based environments
- Consult with and define client I&IT systems requirements and identify solutions.
- Direct project planning for all phases of many concurrent large-scale projects including developing and managing project budgets, directing teams of project staff and developing performance measures for evaluation.
- Direct systems design, development and implementation.
- Direct internal development teams and third party suppliers in the operation of large-scale batch and real-time systems including incident/problem management; and in providing solution development and implementation services.
- Develop and manage relationships with ministry clients, stakeholders, suppliers, partners and other clusters/ministries.
- Carry out management functions including, recruitment, performance management, resource management, and learning and staff development.

- You have experience managing a 24/7 IT operational team that has to trouble-shoot, resolve incidents/problems and ensure proper change management/release planning for deployments.
- You have demonstrated success in fostering an environment of continuous improvement, creativity and excellence.
- You have the ability to provide advice and expertise to management regarding critical or emerging issues or concerns that could impact ministry priorities, and aid in the development of responses.
- You have a keen ability to anticipate and identify potential key issues that have an impact on the program at the area level; follow issues management and communications protocols and aid in the development of responses to issues, including complaints and concerns.

**Technical Skills**:

- You have knowledge of business and systems analysis, design, development, testing and implementation methods, and related I&IT solutions, security architectures and standards to direct staff in design and development of I&IT systems.
- You have an understanding of the complex security and privacy concerns that must be addressed in IT solution design and development, and in ongoing maintenance of existing systems.
- You have knowledge of business modeling and problem-solving approaches to provide technical and general business expertise to direct staff in the resolution of I&IT design challenges and problems.
