**Day to day**:
As Talent Acquisition Partner** **you will be responsible for leading the recruitment function for DLL Canada as well as supporting the hiring in North America and Globally. Reporting to the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager, Americas, this position holds key responsibilities essential to HR’s value proposition to the organization: obtaining quality talent through best-practice talent acquisition. Excellent communication skills and an ability to effectively engage with managers and members throughout the organization will be critical to success in this customer-facing role.

The Talent Acquisition Partner role is a critical role to the strategic workforce planning and recruitment support of all business units within DLL. This role provides proactive support to future hiring initiatives as well as the full life cycle recruitment of high-level professionals. The roles can include repetitive skillsets as well as niche-specific recruitment. This person will be a member of the global Talent Acquisition Team.
- Responsible for the full life cycle recruitment strategy, partnering with managers to understand the unique needs of the business while ensuring the delivery of high-quality talent
- Provide guidance, direction, and feedback to the hiring managers to assist in the enhancement of their hiring skills
- Using social media channels, network, and ability to source talent building a talent pipeline.
- Continuing to brand the DLL experience through Job Fair
- Partner with local Universities, Colleges to offer a robust coop experience. Balance short and long-term strategic goals, including campus recruiting and all-year internship program(s)
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies, including legislative compliance
- Partner with the America’s team on HR projects, and services to ensure consistency on the delivery model and sharing of best practices as a Region
- Identify as the talent acquisition and workforce planning expert to each of your supported business units
- Responsible for local, national, and international based recruitment efforts that span the America’s Region with many different skill sets
- Strong stakeholder management skillset is required as you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with all hiring managers and DLL executives
- Working to build and maintain talent pipelines for repetitive skillsets
- Experienced with competency as well as behavioral-based interview methods
- Maintain a continuous process improvement (CPI) mindset in order to improve upon current policies, procedures, and metrics
- Facilitation of learning workshops for DLL hiring managers to best equip each manager with interviewing techniques to ensure the best decision for DLL’s future is made when hiring
- Team with the global Talent Acquisition team to focus on and influence company-wide diversity recruitment initiatives and deliverables
- Be an authentic leader who lives the values, inspires, and facilitates members to contribute to collective results in a networked organization
