Director of Business Development

**Job Summary**
The Maddec Group of Companies is a leading commercial cleaning company known for delivering high-quality services to businesses across Western Canada. We specialize in creating clean, safe, and healthy environments for our clients, ranging from strata-residential buildings to industrial facilities. As we continue to expand, we're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development & Sales to lead our growth efforts. Compensation will be based on experience and credentials.
**Responsibilities**
- Design and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and company growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and target markets, including corporate offices, retail spaces, healthcare facilities, and industrial sites.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, including property managers, facility directors, and procurement professionals.
- Lead, mentor and manage a sales team to ensure they meet individual and team sales targets
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective sales campaigns.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for additional growth
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, presentations and contracts for potential clients.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to meet goals.
- Attend industry events, trade shows and networking functions to promote The Maddec Group of Companies.
**Qualifications**
- Batchelor's degree in Business Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in the commercial cleaning, facilities management, or related industry is a plus.
**Preferred Skills**
- Strong negotiation and communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement a strategic sales plan
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel to meet with potential clients
