Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Special Events Manager to join our team. The Special Events Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various special events, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests. This role requires excellent time management, communication, and negotiation skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute special events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences
- Oversee event setup, including tent, gelato assets, and cash desk
- Coordinate event logistics, such as transportation for staff joining mid event
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during events
- Provide exceptional guest services throughout the event to ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and trends
- Proficiency in time management to meet deadlines and deliver successful events
- Ability to market events effectively to attract attendees
- Upselling skills to promote additional services or upgrades to clients

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in event planning or hospitality management is preferred

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
