Lead Generation Specialist

Reporting to the Manager of Client Experience and Acquisition, the **Lead Generation Specialist** is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating leads to help PSHSA achieve the instructor led training revenue target. Using technology like CRM and training registration data, the Lead Generation Specialist will work to continuously improve the impact and effectiveness of their interactions and PSHSA’s overall client experience.
The role requires a strong understanding of how to uncover client needs and business goals, communicating how PSHSA can provide value. The lead generation specialist will proactively identify and connect with clients that will ultimately expand PSHSA’s reach and translate into safer workplaces and healthy workers. The lead generation specialist is open to trying, learning, and adjusting lead generation tactics over time as PSHSA continues to digitize and future proof health and safety in Ontario.

**Major Accountabilities**:
**Prospect and Lead Generation**
- Use qualifying lead techniques such as gauging the clients comfort level with their current provider/vendor and inquiring about timing, introducing organizational expertise when relevant.
- Responsible for generating interest, managing leads and securing contracts for live instructor led health and safety training sessions
- Build and cultivate prospect relationships to move opportunities through the lead generation process
- Identify client interactions that could help generate new leads
- Test different messaging and placement on our website to generate more leads
- Manage assigned lead generation activities, provide regular status updates and report results
- Generate new leads through marketing tactics, networking, CRM and online research
- Build and maintain strong client relationships both before, during and after training contracts
- Has a deep understanding of PSHSA training, product and consulting and can recommend next action to clients based on their individual needs.
- Actively manage and digitally track leads.
**Client Experience**
- Create client quotes by collaborating internally to finalize resources, cost, dates, course
- Understand the end-to-end client experience for the instructor led portfolio through all of our systems
- Use systems to enable regular, meaningful client communication that drive action
- Respond in a timely manner to all client inquiries
- Provide excellent client experience through various communication tactics
- Maintain high client scores through surveys
- Use client experience and market knowledge to identify new opportunities to connect with clients
- Update CRM with all client interactions
- Use technology and automation to manage lead management where possible over time
- Assist with issue management, including identifying the issue, engaging with key stakeholders, documenting and assessing possible resolutions.
**Planning & Reporting**
- Consistently works to improve the impact of interactions based on feedback and data.
- Use different data sources to measure the impact of activities including Google analytics, CRM and learning technology registrations
- Share insights, feedback and ideas with leaders and key stakeholders to continuously improve client acquisition tactics and workflow
- Using market knowledge and campaign data, collaborate with marketing on future campaign concepts and messaging
- Manage & pull data from CRM to review historical trends, training revenue to help establish future lead generation strategy
- Collaborate with IT to build client lists using historical training records
**Job Requirements**:
- Completion of post-secondary education.
- Minimum of three years of proven sales/account management experience
- Comfortable with doing needs analysis, value proposition and pitching as part of the acquisition process.
- Persistent and comfortable with lead follow up.
- Organized and can manage multiple competing priorities at once
- Self-starter that is comfortable with working independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with CRM tools to generate reporting for sales
