The Tire Warehouse Operations Supervisor oversees the day-to-day activities within the warehouse to ensure efficient operations, optimal inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory flow, coordinating with other departments, and optimizing warehouse processes to meet quality and productivity standards. The Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective order fulfillment and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- **Oversee Daily Operations**: Supervise warehouse staff to ensure proper handling, receiving, storage, and distribution of tires, coordinating schedules and delegating tasks to maintain workflow.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels, organize stock, oversee regular counts, and ensure accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- **Staff Management and Training**: Train, mentor, and support warehouse staff; provide feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and promote a productive work environment.
- **Ensure Quality and Accuracy**: Verify that all tire products are received and stored properly, minimizing errors and optimizing space usage to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Enforce safety protocols, maintain OSHA compliance, and ensure proper use of equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements in workflow, organization, and inventory processes to enhance productivity.
- **Coordinate with Other Departments**: Work closely with purchasing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication regarding inventory needs and order fulfillment.
- **Reporting and Analysis**: Track warehouse performance metrics, such as productivity, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment rates, and prepare regular reports for management.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High School Diploma or GED required; an associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- **Experience**: 3+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution center operations; prior supervisory experience, particularly in the tire or automotive industry, is a plus.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on feet for extended periods, and adapt to varying warehouse conditions.
- **Certifications**: Forklift certification required; additional warehouse certifications are a plus.

Working Conditions

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
