Warehouse Tire Storage Labourer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**: Sort, label, and organize tires within designated storage areas to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management.
- **Loading/Unloading**: Assist with the loading and unloading of tires from delivery trucks, following all safety protocols.
- **Order Fulfillment**: Select tires according to customer orders or pick lists and prepare for shipment.
- **Storage and Organization**: Store tires safely, ensuring they are stacked and arranged in compliance with warehouse standards.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols for handling heavy loads and working with warehouse equipment.
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, if certified (training provided if needed).
- **Quality Control**: Inspect tires for damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
- **Warehouse Cleanliness**: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping and removing debris.

**Qualifications**:

- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in a warehouse or storage facility is an asset, but not required.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to accurately match product numbers and handle inventory.
- **Team Player**: Willingness to assist team members and work collaboratively.
- **Communication Skills**: Basic communication skills to report issues and receive instructions.
- **Safety-Conscious**: Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.

**Working Conditions**:

- Exposure to varying warehouse temperatures, including colder areas.

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 3 years (required)
- Manual Labour: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
