**Job Summary**:
The Material Controller is responsible for the management of the onshore warehouse. This includes goods issues, verification of material, oversee flow of materials to and from the warehouse, management of day-to-day activities in the onshore warehouse.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments as per receiving and shipping schedules or department priorities.
- Coordinate the movement of material to offshore installations as well as around town to specified vendors.
- Supervise the preparation of material in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor to be shipped offshore via vessel or helicopter.
- Work with Client, Vendors, Offshore Stores, and Warehouse Staff to rectify material discrepancies.
- Inspection and verification of material for/with the client along with ensuring material is accessible for viewing.
- Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records.
- Provides accurate and timely documentation of material and product movement.
- Oversee loading and unloading of material to ensure the task is completed safely and efficiently.
- General office duties.
- Utilizing various warehouse management and logístical systems to ensure material accuracy, material traceability, adequate manifesting and loadout request submittal.
- Prepare shipping documentation for Air and Marine dangerous goods
- Work with Inventory Manager to optimize space and provide support during inventory counts.

**Qualifications**:

- 1 - 3 years supervisory experience
- Experience with inventory management software
- Experience with logistics/materials in the oil & gas industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel.
- Positive attitude and desire to help others
- Great attention to detail
- Responsible and works well with others and independently.
- Good under high pressure situations
- Strong communication and personable nature
- Familiarity of ISO Standard Working Conditions considered an asset

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
