Production Supervisor – Wood Products Manufacturing
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our wood products manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, managing a team of employees, and maintaining a safe working environment.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Your excellent communication and problem-solving skills will enable you to effectively manage your team and resolve any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to ensure efficient production processes.
- Manage the scheduling of employees, including breaks and overtime.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including quality control and safety metrics.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
The salary for this position is estimated to be $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
