Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Insight Health Solutions, the Manager, Business Diversification and Development, is an integral member of the Insight Health Solutions Program’s leadership team and will be responsible for achieving sales targets and business development initiatives to support insight health solutions broader business diversification efforts.
- Frequent travel mostly in southern Ontario is a job requirement and access to a reliable automobile is required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the Insight leadership team, integration manager & operational managers and teams, and applicable internal THP clinical and enabling teams to build new clinical business programs.
- Assess market conditions and opportunities, developing consistent processes to communicate insights with leadership and to facilitate decision-making.
- Perform market analyses and needs assessments with employer and insurer sectors to identify market needs and opportunities.
- Create a network of multi-sector contacts across large Ontario and National employer and insurer groups.
- Lead the development of RFP submissions including the liaison with internal clinical and enabling teams where applicable.
- Maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders internally and externally.
- Build an in-depth understanding and awareness of customer needs and processes.
- Customer targeting and identification, customer research and needs; assessment, industry/market trends identification, market strategy development;
- Attend and participate in industry events to develop key relationships and opportunities for growth; and having an in-depth knowledge of regulations, business products and value proposition.
- Contribute to annual sales targets and goals and objectives in their development and delivery, achieving insight annual sales targets and business development goals.
- Participate in strategic conversations with insight leadership team, sharing recommendations regarding targets, sectors, and opportunities, provincially and beyond.
- With the Lead, Business Diversification, define target client segments, prioritize opportunities, and set clear objectives for revenue growth and market penetration.
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline to ensure 3-4x quota target coverage.
- Client Relationship Management:

- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and clients in target industries.

**Qualifications**:

- Baccalaureate degree in Business or Health related field required; Regulated Health Care provider preferred;
- Master’s degree or current registration in a Graduate program preferred (e.g. Business Administration, Health Administration, Leadership) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years (5) of leadership experience in similar or identical field
- Minimum of five years relevant third party sales and business development relevant industry experience (disability management, insurance, rehabilitation etc.)
- Self-starter, able to work to achieve goals with mínimal direction; highly accountable.
- Clinical knowledge required to develop new business lines; ideally RHP in Allied Health with extensive business skills and financial acumen e.g., Pro-forma creation, business case development.
- Ability to work in a systematic way in a high-pressured, fast-paced, results driven environment.
- Ability to juggle high number of activities often with competing timelines.
- Ability to develop trusting relationships quickly and to present clearly and articulately, explaining THP’s value proposition and being an excellent ambassador for THP, often to external organization leaders e.g., VPs.
