The Role:
The Office Assistant will be responsible for acting as reception relief while managing telephone calls in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. This position will support various departments throughout the organization with administrative duties as required in the day-to-day operation of the company.

As the Office Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
Reception Relief
- Answer and direct calls in a polite and friendly manner
- Book boardrooms or conference calls and approve meeting room requests
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing courier shipments and mail
- Welcome visitors and greet them by maintaining boardrooms and preparing coffee/water

Office Management
- Distribute office supplies, snacks & coffee to different sites as well as within the office
- Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis
- Organize and help plan office events by supporting the executive assistants as well as the P&C team
- Reconcile cheques and send them out using Envoy Express/ Canada Post
- Support various departments through the organization with administrative duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 1-2 years of reception/administrative, or customer service experience
- Basic computer skills and a working knowledge of computer systems and software
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken (English)
- Great organization skills and attention to detail

Additional Information:

- Schedule: Part-Time (8:30 am to 1:00 pm)
- Full-time hours may be scheduled as required for Reception coverage
