**Purchasing Coordinator / Rebuyer**
West Four Group of Companies Inc. is a growing Western Canadian leader in supplying doors, hardware, and building specialties. Our trade brands are Madero, Penner, Security Building Supplies, Two Six Creative, West Four Distribution, West Four Manufacturing, and WSI Modular with facilities in Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg.
Our organization has an opportunity for a Rebuyer to join our Procurement Team. This is a full-time permanent position that will be part of our Security Building Supplies Division with a focus on Building Materials replenishment and special orders. This position reports to the Purchasing Manager and will operate out of our manufacturing facility in Saskatoon.
**Position and Responsibilities**:
- You would be part of a group of rebuyer, each rebuyer is assigned a portfolio of vendors to manage.
- Within portfolio, manage the replenishment of stock for the stocking program, process special orders, manage confirmations with a focus on costing, dates, and accuracy.
- Process purchase orders with a focus on maximizing margins and cost controls through freight management, purchasing levels, promotion or buy opportunities, flow of inventory, and turns.
- Manage the purchasing cycle to control the effect the flow of product has on the entire cycle from time of ordering, to processing at one of our DC’s, storage, the affect on internal systems such as accounts payable, receiving, production, shipping, and the sale to the end user,
- Product may include or a combination of buy/sell products as well as items required for production and manufacturing.
- Inventory management of assigned vendors with a focus on turns, cash flow, and maximizing profitability,
- Manage system data integrity including code creation, costing, liquidation, phase out. Ensure that our programs stay inline with each vendor within the assigned portfolio.
- Investigate issues or address concerns that are discovered in the process of ordering or inventory reviews,
- Process special orders, maintain confirmations with a heavy focus on dates as it relates to contracts, manufacturing, and projects,
- Maintain vendor relationships and be the liaison between our vendors, sales teams, and project coordinators.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Experience in Building Materials or Lumber Commodity
- High level of skill with Excel and other standard desktop business software,
- The ability to meet multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks,
- Attention to detail and accuracy,
- Sense of accountability,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
- Self Learner, ability to seek answers.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
