Here is what you will be doing:
The Systemic Treatment Program (STP) strives to be leaders in the provision of high quality systemic treatment through innovation, integration and partnership.

The program works to improve equitable access to high-quality cancer care for all patients in Ontario by setting standards and guidelines for all systemic cancer treatments. Systemic treatments are therapies used to treat cancer cells throughout the body and include chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy.

Collaborating with other Clinical Programs and Quality Initiatives (CPQI) programs, business partners across CCO, and working extensively with oncology professionals across the regions, the STP continues to ensure that established standards reinforce positive change and improve best practices across Ontario.

Here is what you will need to be successful:

- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external partners including governance bodies’ members, their assistants, provincial and regional clinical leads, clinicians, and others.
- Manage incoming inquiries and triage requests as required. Ensure that matters are handled in a timely fashion, with attention to detail, accuracy and strict confidentiality.
- Coordinate meetings for various components of STP including:

- Schedule and manage logistics for Committees, Working Groups and Communities of Practice (CoP) in coordination with other members of the team.
- Coordinate, schedule and manage logistics for ad hoc meetings with internal and external individuals and groups, to ensure activities and deliverables are aligned with plans.
- Record concise and accurate minutes for various different meetings, communicate issues arising from meetings, and monitor appropriate follow up action if any.
- Coordinate program activities, including working with committees, and project teams to monitor tasks, milestones and expenses.
- Provide support in the administration of procurement and contracts.
- Provide support in establishing, mapping and communicating processes.
- Plan events and support as required for major provincial in-person meetings, workshops and other knowledge transfer events.
- Maintain and coordinate effective electronic-based filing systems for the team to ensure documents are organized.
- Research and/or compile information, as directed.
- Prepare power point presentations and excel spreadsheets, as necessary.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Education and Experience
- Undergraduate degree, plus minimum 2 years of equivalent experience.
- Experience in capturing meeting minutes preferred.
- Experience in healthcare environment, specifically in systemic treatment is an asset.

Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, decision-making and diplomacy skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently and to meet deadlines with an attention to detail.
- Demonstrated organization and project management skills. Detail-oriented.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, Outlook and Internet.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in English grammar and spelling.
- Able to work both as a member of a dedicated team to fulfil the team’s responsibilities, and independently, using sound judgement and independent thought.
- Committed to improving the quality of Systemic Treatment in Ontario.
- Able to see daily activities in the context of the program’s goals.
- Able to interact comfortably and in a professional manner with all levels of organization and personnel, including with OH-CCO’s varied internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills.

- Excel at managing multiple tasks.
