**Personal Requirements**: Flexibility; calm, caring, positive attitude

**Other Assets**:Experience with seniors
Good knowledge of the local area

Mechanical aptitude

Second language skills

**Responsible to**: Executive Director

**Duties**:

- Ensure safety of all passengers
- Complete pre and post trip inspections
- Complete bus log at the end of each trip
- Transport passengers on scheduled runs
- Interact with clients/seniors in a courteous and professional manner
- Load and secure mobility devices as needed, including wheelchairs
- Observe all traffic laws and safety rules
- Monitor and fill up fuel as needed
- Carry out emergency/collision procedures as required

Other Related Duties
- Follow safety protocols
- Take buses to mechanic

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC V6M 2B7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- driving: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- class 4 unrestricted driver's license (required)
