Casual Bus Driver for Seniors Organization

Requirements: Valid Unrestricted Class 4 License
Acceptable Drivers Abstract

Valid First Aid Certificate

Criminal Records Check
COVID-19 vaccinations (2 doses)

Experience : Experience in driving buses/vans (up to 20 people)

Personal Requirements: Flexibility; calm, caring, positive attitude

Responsible to: Executive Director

**Duties**:

- Ensure safety of all passengers
- Complete pre and post trip inspections
- Complete bus log at the end of each trip
- Transport passengers on scheduled runs
- Interact with clients/seniors in a courteous and professional manner
- Load and secure mobility devices as needed, including wheelchairs
- Observe all traffic laws and safety rules
- Monitor and fill up fuel as needed
- Carry out emergency/collision procedures as required

Other Assets: Experience with seniors
Good knowledge of the local area

Mechanical aptitude

Second language skills

Other Related Duties
- Follow safety protocols
- Take buses to mechanic

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $25.75 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
