- This position will join the BC Cancer Provincial Programs team within the Functional Imaging portfolio. The role is able to be hybrid, with a requirement that the manager must be located within the vicinity of a regional BC Cancer Centre. A flexible work arrangement is possible and occasional travel will be required within BC._

**What you’ll do**
- Working with both Provincial and Regional leadership, the Senior Manager takes a lead role in the strategic development of provincial functional imaging program short and long-term priorities/direction; its annual objectives and development of a performance management framework (including benchmarks and quality metrics), within the overall portfolio and BC Cancer strategy.
- Provide leadership and accountability for the planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care processes and services within the Provincial Functional Imaging program and assists the Provincial Lead in both developing/maintaining province wide clinical service standards and priorities and in supporting regional leadership in their work to achieve and sustain these standards.
- Pertaining to expansion of new clinical services to other regions, oversees design, development, and implementation of new regional programs, including being responsible for the project budget and developing new governance structures as required.
- Stay informed of new technologies and techniques and in working with both provincial and regional program leadership, oversees the planning and implementation of new techniques and therapies, including coordinating communications, training, and post-implementation evaluation.
- Lead in the development of program operating and capital budgets and cost pressure and business case submissions related to the functional imaging program. This work includes assisting the Provincial Lead by identifying service and budget priorities, determining the best allocation of resources and building implementation plans to support program development and improved service delivery.

**What you bring**
- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Master’s degree in a health related discipline.
- Ten (10) years’ experience working in functional imaging in a clinical capacity with policy makers, practitioners, researchers and senior administrators, five (5) of which is at a management or clinical level in a large functional imaging program.

Skills & Knowledge
- A broad knowledge of healthcare systems with demonstrated ability and experience in managing strategic planning, health system initiatives at the organizational, regional and provincial levels is required, including demonstrated leadership and management skills in a large diverse environment.
- Recent experience in change management is an asset.
- Strong conceptual, policy and analytical skills are required, including the ability to synthesize complex ideas and information.
- Awareness of and commitment to learning and understanding the Truth & Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action (2015), In Plain Sight Report (2020), BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019), and other related reports.
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).
- Knowledge of social, economic, political and historical realities impacting indigenous communities and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism and accompanying reports (BC DRIPA, TRC, etc.).
