BigSteelBox, Canada’s most diversified shipping container company, is looking for an experienced Account Manager for our modifications
managing and growing revenue and margin inside small, medium, and large accounts. The position requires a results-oriented
professional who has built and maintained mutually beneficial relationships with key clients. Travel and overtime may be required.

Starting as soon as possible, this is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, offering a competitive base salary and an incentive
scheme currently based on revenue. Benefits and an RRSP matching program will be provided after three months. Subject to employee
Ontario, with the potential of working from home as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years outside sales experience or bachelor’s degree and 1 year outside sales experience.
Experience selling to construction, retail, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
Basic building material knowledge is an asset.
Ability to read basic construction drawings is an asset.
A proven record of being able to meet with clients to uncover detailed business requirements.
A proven track record of hunting for and acquiring new small to large-sized accounts.
A proven track record of growing existing customers.
A valid driver’s license is required.
A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responds to, qualifies, and quotes modified container web leads and inbound phone calls.
Works with clients to develop a project scope that ensures our proposed solution will meet client needs.
Ensures that quotes, drawings, and potential builds meet the core competencies of the shop to maximize efficiencies and reduce

risk.
Issues production orders and drawings to shop, provides status updates both internally and externally.
Meets prospects and existing clients at the container modifications facility to discuss potential and ongoing sales opportunities.
Meets minimum sales activity expectations, which includes phone calls, field visits and customer meetings to targeted businesses

including large infrastructure projects.
Works with the regions store managers, inside sales team and regional account managers on opportunities where modified

containers are required,
Records all sales activities.
Presents periodic reports that track progress in the pursuit of business objectives.
Attends production meeting, weekly.
Maintains a high degree of commitment to relationship building (both internal and external) and customer satisfaction.
Ensures work practices and interactions are aligned with and promote the BigSteelBox corporate values.
Adheres to and defends the company’s health and safety program, strengthening the safety culture in the workplace.
