NextStar Energy (NSE) is a joint venture between LG Energy Solution and Stellantis.

NextStar Energy will be Canada's first large-scale lithium-ion battery production plant when it begin production at the site on over 200-acres of land on Twin Oaks Drive near Banwell Road.

The manufacturing facility is targeted to have an annual production capacity in excess of 49 gigawatt hours and will create an estimated 2,500 new jobs in Windsor and the surrounding areas.

Production operations planned to launch in the first quarter of 2024.

As **HR Generalist** you will be responsible for include recruitment and onboarding of all production and skilled trades staff; data gathering, analysis and reporting for all employment related initiatives; headcount and manpower tracking; administration of all employment status changes and leave programs in accordance with company policy and employment legislation.

Additional responsibilities may include initiatives for training and learning programs; development and administration of employment programs and providing support for labour relations and collective bargaining assignments

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Completed University Bachelor's degree
- Strong interest in growing as a Human Resources professional
- Minimum 12 months work experience in the Human Resources field
- Interest in working in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, team building and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and record keeping skills
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or related field
- Fluent in Korean language
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Prior Human Resources or Labour Relations experience in a unionized environment
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations including: Ontario Human Rights Code Employment Standards Act, Labour Relations Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
