We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to work at our head office in Mississauga. We offer a dynamic team environment with exciting and challenging work.
Reporting to the Controller, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for a variety of tasks within the Accounting Department ranging from administrative duties to reconciliations and reporting.
The role is within the Accounting team which is responsible for maintaining strong internal controls for the Company and ensuring integrity of the financials. It involves working closely with our Controller, CFO and other departments within our organization.

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide accurate, organized and efficient administrative and accounting support
- Coordinate travel, supply orders, invoice approvals, collect and track data, research information
- Sort and distribute mail, schedule and organize meetings, manage calendars, create and maintain files
- Assist with the Accounts Payable function as required
- Assist in preparation of letters, communications, reports, etc. as required
- Assist the CFO and generally support the accounting department
- Keep the team informed and up-to-date about the status/progress of projects
- Perform other accounting and administrative assignments as required
- 1 year to 3 years of related experience preferred. Open to recent graduates.
- You possess the ability to work well under pressure
- You possess effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Your attention to detail is strong and your work is performed to the highest degree of accuracy, at all times
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
