17.5 hours/week, 11 months/year

**KEY WORK ACTIVITIES**:
Front-Line contact for students, staff, parents and the general school community, attendance input in Student Information System (Aspen). This includes first response to telephone calls, visitors to the school, students, etc.

Administrative support and coordination of September start-up and pre-registration packages, yearly calendar, generate and distribute class lists, locker registrations, attendance folders, staff handbooks and mailboxes, grade nine orientation events and parent information nights, etc.

Mark reporting and all report processes - includes EQAO/literacy and math preparation, newsletters, class verification lists, provide staff with ongoing communication of timelines, assist teachers with technical support and filing of reports.

Administrative support to school staff, students and administration, as required.

Administrative activities related to Reports, Exams, Parent/Teacher Interviews, Commencement, Award, Student of Excellence, and recognition awards.

Any other office duties assigned by the school administrative team, as necessary to successfully assist students, staff and parents.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
On-the-job and previous related job experience needed to perform the range of job tasks completely and competently, would be an asset. The school is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic team player, proficient keyboarder with strong technical skills on both Windows, Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc), and the Student Information System (Aspen). Excellent organizational ability and effective interpersonal and communication skills are required.
