**Job Description**:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All IT Operations
- Through stakeholder consultation develop/maintain an IT strategy and plan and oversee the implementation, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall strategy
- Provide strategic direction to establish and lead the risk management and cyber security program governance, risk and compliance management processes and technologies, and information security technical operations
- Maximize mix of in-house versus managed services, develop strategic service providers and strong vendor management practices
- Drive merger and acquisition strategies and processes
- Develop IT business and budget plans that support both long-term and short-term objectives
- Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budget, analyzing capabilities, expenditures.
- Establish (analyze, define, prioritize, and implement) an efficient framework of repeatable, scalable processes for a dynamic, centralized IT organization servicing multiple business units
- Spearhead process improvement, re-evaluating existing business processes to determine how they may change to support streamlined workflows and overall technology operations
- Establish and maintain operations and strategic plans for systems implementation, consistent with defined objectives and strategic direction
- Continuously assess capabilities and refine skills and processes to align technology capabilities with business roadmaps
- Continuously assess BI capabilities to ensure best practices and technologies are incorporated into the overall strategy/direction including the creation and management of relationships with external partners that will aid in the execution of the defined strategies or supply key new technologies
- Identify emerging trends and evaluate/recommend tools and technologies that will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of systems
Leadership and Management
- Foster a progressive culture of innovation, empathy, action orientation and leading teams to achieve goals, build capacity to develop and innovate, and creatively manage challenges and changes
- Provide leadership and vision and oversee the management of an array of IT functions
- Supervise projects and mentor IT resources, develop, and support a staff to accomplish objectives and to deliver products and services to support company goals
- Develop and sell business cases for technology directions, align, and communicate strategy, plans, business case and total cost of ownership
Technical Competencies
- Experience managing geographically distributed organizations with ability to work collaboratively with subsidiaries and remote offices
- Experience in technology sourcing strategies and large contract vendor management
- Record of accomplishment building scalable enterprise platforms
- Demonstrated, hands-on leadership in development and implementation of contemporary enterprise technology architectures, best practices and current innovations across technology solutions and platforms
- Subject matter expert in cloud-based, asset-light solutions (SaaS), including the appropriate degree of focused managed services
- 15+ years of progressive technology leadership with a comprehensive experience set across all IT disciplines
- Results-oriented with impeccable integrity with an emphasis on both individual and team accountability
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and informal communication skills, including ability to communicate complex technical terms using non-technical language
