Front Desk Receptionist
**Duties**:
- Greet and welcome patients, clients, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person or department
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Check patients in and out, verify insurance information, and collect payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Transcribe medical documents and proofread for errors
- Assist with general office tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate events and meetings as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite
- Attention to detail and accuracy in transcribing and proofreading documents
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, clients, and colleagues
