**Job Description**:

- Proactively manage investor relationships for BEP, executing on strategies to raise investor awareness and understanding of the business;
- Understand and assess investor sentiment and implement programs to take advantage of market momentum and address issues;
- Be able to crisply and effectively articulate BEPs equity strategy to stakeholders, including describing new transaction activity;
- Manage BEP analyst relationships, including initiation and ongoing coverage;
- Formulate and execute strategic planning to develop key investor relationships, both public and private
- Coordinate and actively participate in quarter end activities and communications to investors;
- Actively engage in the formulation of key messaging to the market and be an effective communicator of this messaging both verbally and in written format
- Plan and be responsible for regularly recurring investor events, such as annual investor day;
- Take the pen on written responses to topical items relevant to the business, and be able to communicate the firm’s views internally and externally;
- Execute and support on strategic initiatives within the group;
- Coordinate with counterparts at BAM corporate, the private funds group and other business groups to ensure consistent interaction with the market and investors;
- Report on activities to senior management and the board;
- Delegate to and manage subordinates as appropriate;
- Execute on special projects as required.
- Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree in business or finance;
- CPA, MBA and/or CFA designation preferred;
- Seven to ten years of experience in any of the following disciplines: capital markets, investment banking, equity research, corporate development, investor relations;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Clear history of working with public company and/or private fund investors;
- Strong oral and verbal communication skills with a particular strength in dealing with a wide variety of individuals at various levels within and outside of the organization;
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, global environment and to adapt quickly to changing priorities;
- Analytic and strategic thinker with the ability to assess complex situations and make effective recommendations;
- Excellent organizational skills and capability to effectively manage priorities while meeting timelines;
- Proactive self-starter who is able to handle pressure effectively and has experience working with senior management teams;
- Team-oriented; demonstrates a commitment to shared success above any personal accomplishment or recognition.
