**Digital Marketing Specialist**
We're on a mission to change the world through empowering videos and the **Digital Marketing Specialist** plays an essential role in achieving that mission by being the one responsible for packaging, publishing, distributing and maximizing the performance of our content. In this role you will be in charge of broadening our audience reach, strengthening our audience loyalty, as well as driving engagement and growth across platforms, which include our social channels, website and app. This will be achieved via community management, audience development, content marketing and week-over-week analysis, and more.
As our Digital Marketing specialist, you will work closely with the Insights team and Goalcast leadership to leverage data-driven insights that will contribute to a superior audience experience. To be successful in this role, you will need to be deeply ingrained in the world of social media. You will be expected to stay on top of new developments in the industry that could help or hinder Goalcast's growth, stay ahead of algorithmic shifts, and make recommendations that will amplify our impact based on your observations. The right fit for this role is someone who's driven both by meaningful human connection and its impact on company performance.
**Your key responsibilities are**:

- Leveraging insights, tactics and relevant tools to drive audience reach, increase viewership growth and enhance engagement across all Goalcast properties
- Packaging of content, which includes writing social copy, tags, titles, and determining the most appropriate thumbnails
- Overseeing distribution and optimizing the video performance per platform
- Community management across all social platforms, including monitoring and responding to comments and audience feedback in a timely manner
- Tracking, measuring and reporting weekly content performance against viewership and engagement goals
- Developing a data-driven understanding of categories, formats, and creative tactics that make content successful
- Researching new audience markets to target and building relevant relationships with external partners to broaden our content and audience reach
- Managed the social media presence and/or community of a world-renowned brand
- Experience in the media industry
- Experience with audience listening, identifying trends and capitalizing on opportunities
- Highly adaptable and comfortable in a fast paced growth environment
- High emotional intelligence

**Requirements**:

- In-depth knowledge of social media and a minimum of 5 years experience working in a social media marketing, content distribution or related role
- Data-driven mindset with a track record of leveraging insights, tactics and relevant tools to drive growth and engagement
- Content packaging and publishing experience
- Experiencing managing a thriving online community
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills
