**Your Position & How You Will Contribute**:
Based in York Region in a hybrid working environment - Reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Management, the Project Manger will be highly experienced and proactive to lead our Fibre to the Home (FTTH) projects. You will be responsible for developing project plans, predicting and monitoring the progress of all construction and materials acquisition activities, and ensuring successful project delivery on time and within budget. In this highly dynamic position, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in your career and within the organization.

**Responsibilities & Key Duties include**:
Project Planning and Management
- Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, schedule, budget, and resources required.
- Predict, monitor, and control the progress of all construction and materials acquisition activities.
- Ensure that all project phases are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Coordination and Execution
- Coordinate with various teams including engineering, construction, procurement, and external vendors.
- Ensure all teams are aligned and working towards the project objectives.
- Oversee the execution of the project plan, making adjustments as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.

Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to key stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports and updates.
- Facilitate project meetings and follow up on action items.

Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and address issues that may impact project timelines and quality.

Budget and Resource Management
- Manage project budgets, ensuring that expenditures are tracked and controlled.
- Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to meet project demands.

Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure all project activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and contracts.

Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned to enhance future project performance.

Other Responsibilities
- Help in setting up the resources and processes (contractors, internal resources)
- Work with contractors to detail specific project deliverables
- Develop timelines of goals and objectives for projects
- Delegating projects to teams best suited to complete them
- Tracking project performance and analyzing deliverables against requirements
- Ensuring that all budgetary objectives are met, making adjustments as required
- Creating timely reports for executive committee meetings
- Predicting resource requirements based on build volume
- Scope - Design, Permitting, locates, drilling, fibre blowing, splicing, hand-over to operations
- Coordination of invoicing from the contractors and ensuring work validation with construction management
- Ensuring the updating of internal systems
- Ensuring the archiving of as-build drawings

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in related areas or fields
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus
- College or University degree in related field

**Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the telecommunications industry with a focus on FTTH projects
- Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Smartsheet)
- Strong understanding of construction and materials acquisition processes
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and resourceful mindset
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple on-going priorities
- Ability to handle confidential and non-routine information with discretion and
