If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you Good Behaviour is an amazing submarine sandwich and ice cream shop located at 342 Westmoreland Ave. N, 1324A Gerrard E. and 335 Queen St. W. in Toronto, Ontario. We are currently seeking a few Line Cooks to join both of our dynamic teams.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook a variety of submarine sandwiches and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Execute techniques such as braising, pickling, marinating and meat butchery.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high levels of efficiency.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate orders and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Assist with food inventory management and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Solid understanding of food preparation techniques and culinary terms.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- 2 years as a cook in a professional kitchen
