Manufacturing Production Assistant

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:

- Complete order process and best practices to administer, monitor and track all inbound work orders and material orders.
- Provide timely and accurate updates, vendor follow-up and information for the Production Manager.
- Generate all necessary production files, documents, and work orders.
- Complete all required documentation in a thorough and timely manner, including data entry.
- Purchasing & receiving inventory of standard shop supplies and materials. Placing orders to maintain adequate in-stock levels of key supplies.
- Managing the shipping and receiving logs for all incoming and outgoing orders and materials.
- Facilitate all inbound and outbound freight. Process inbound freight with status updates and accurate tagging and locating of products. Process outbound freight with coordinating pickup, drop off, BOL processing and overall shipment building.
- Packaging of outgoing shipments, to ensure quality and quantities are correct.
- Assist in light manufacturing duties when needed.
- Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications as may be required and/or assigned as necessary to enhance the role of this position or to provide you with opportunities to grow within the company.

Skills/Attributes Required:

- Self-Starter: Highly motivated self-starter with results orientation to complete tasks within time frame set.
- Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Paying close attention to detail and being accurate is imperative.
- Communication: Good speaking voice, with strong English language verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate and interact effectively in English with management and other team members.
- Teamwork: Able to work with others in the form of a team and in a friendly manner. Clear understanding of the Company's policies and standards of behavior. Follows all safety rules and guidelines.
- Customer Service: We concentrate on the specific needs of our customers, anticipate their wishes and exceed their expectations.
- Time Management: Able to plan ahead to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Plans and organizes a daily routine and responsibilities.

**Education**:
Post Secondary Education in Business Administration or other relevant field of study

Efficient skills with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Knowledge of Spire Accounting software.

80 hours biweekly

Starting rate of $20 plus per hour based on experience.
